Ard Rock, Yorkshire - Skills Sessions
24th - 26th July 2026 - Ard Rock x Hope Academy Skill Sessions
We are exciting to be back for our 5th year at Ard Rock! Join us for one of our Academy Skill Sessions throughout the weekend or our Sunday Funduro race.
(Full Ard Rock Festival runs from 24th -26th July.)
This year we will be delivering our usual Academy Skill Sessions in a new exciting format:
Balance Bikes and New Peddlers: A fun session focused on improving balance and transitioning from balance bikes to pedals! New riders will gain confidence and enhance their bike handling skills in a supportive environment. Perfect for little ones ready to take their next cycling step!
FUN-damentals: An exciting session covering essential mountain biking skills! We’ll dive into cornering, braking, pumping, and body position, helping you build confidence in the core techniques needed for the trails. Perfect for all levels looking to enhance their ride!
Advanced FUN-damentals: Once you’ve mastered the fundamentals, we’ll dive into advanced skills for tackling rock gardens and tree roots! Get prepared to conquer those technical trails with confidence.
Drops: You've mastered the skills, now it’s time to send it! Starting with small drops, we’ll gradually work our way up to 1 meter. This isn’t for the faint-hearted, but if you're ready for an adrenaline rush, join us for some thrilling fun! Let’s take it to the next level!
Jumps: For all regular and advanced riders with jumping experience! This session is designed to take your skills to new heights. Please note, for safety reasons, this session is weather dependent. If conditions aren’t right, we’ll offer an alternative session. Get ready to jump into the fun!
